Our editorial team reviews all pitches. We look for originality, relevance, and voice.

If your pitch is a good fit, we'll reach out with next steps. This could mean commissioning an article, setting up a meeting, or workshopping the idea further.

Production

Selected pitches move into production. We work with you to refine, produce, and publish your work on TCM.

Submission guidelines

  • • Be specific: what story do you want to tell and why now?
  • • Show your voice: we want to hear your perspective, not generic takes
  • • Relevance matters: how does this connect to what's happening?
  • • Original work only: don't submit ideas published elsewhere
  • • TCM prioritizes diverse voices and underrepresented perspectives
  • • We pay contributors for commissioned work
